In March of 1910, Cora received a St. Patrick’s Day greeting from Anna Mumma.
Anna mailed the postcard from Landisville, an unincorporated community about seven miles northwest of the city of Lancaster.

The tranquil riverside scene is framed with a green border adorned with Celtic metalwork.
In golden shamrocks, we read “Saint Patrick’s Day Greetings”.
On the reverse, Anna greets Cora jovially and refers to a recent meeting.
Anna exclaims, “you girls are great” and expresses regret that she missed being there “that Sunday”.
There may be some long-standing joke among the friends as Anna threatens, “just wait till (sic) I get to see you” and “I square things up.”
One hopes that Cora and Anna had a great St. Patrick’s Day and that the genial group of girls remained friends and correspondents for many years.
