Mr. Jesse VanScoy lived in Norwalk, a city in Fairfield County of southwest Connecticut.
Norwalk is on the northern shore of Long Island Sound.

NOTE:The address is written carelessly, but I have another postcard that clearly shows the last name as “VanScoy”.
I changed “Jessie” to “Jesse” under an assumption that this is the man’s name.
In July of 1910, Jesse received a postcard from someone nearby; the postcard was mailed in Norwalk.
The sender, B.L., is aware that Jesse is married -the event may have occurred recently.
Thee face of the postcard is a romantic scene of a couple holding hands.
In an outdoor setting, a young woman reclines on a hammock.
Beside her, a man in a suit and bowler hat, stands in attendance.
There is no caption which describes this scene of courtship or romance.
I cannot find a publisher’s mark; the postcard was printed in Germany.
On the reverse, B. L. asks simply, “How do you like married life”.
One wonders if this question comes from a bachelor pal or from a female acquaintance.
In any event, one hopes that Jesse and his wife were happy in their marriage, and that the postcard sender had romantic success.
