Warm Christmas Greetings from a Faithful Friend – Buffalo, New York (1931)

Miss M. Holman lived in Buffalo, New York.

In December of 1931, Miss Holman received a Christmas postcard from friends in Canada.

Joe and Jeannie mailed the postcard from an unidentified place in Ontario – the postmark is applied sloppily.

The postcard bears a drawing of a chair and a spinning wheel in front of a window that is framed by candles and adorned with a Christmas wreath.

A verse proclaims that these “warm greetings” are sent from “an old-time, faithful friend”.

On the reverse, Joe and Jeannie have inscribed their names.

One hopes that Miss Holman was pleased to receive the Christmas greeting sent across Lake Erie.
