Kauffman’s Park in Manheim, PA -circa 1924

Manheim is a town in Lancaster County, PA – about eight miles north of Lancaster City.

I have driven through the charming town of Manheim a couple hundred times, but was not familiar with Kauffman’s Park.

Here is a hand-colored photograph of the place, which includes a portion of Fairview Cemetery.

This white-bordered postcard, unmailed, was printed about 1924.

The card was printed and published by “N.A. Trimmer, Lititz & Manheim”.

In researching the names and addresses of persons who sent and received postcards in the early 20th century, I have found that my vintage correspondence relates sometimes to persons and entire families who are interred in Fairview Cemetery.
