“Business is Good” – Bamforth & Co. (1910)

This romantic postcard was published by the Bamforth Company, which had offices in England and in New York.

The postcard was printed in England.

We have seen other light-hearted and comic postcards published by this firm.

This image was copyrighted in 1910, and was probably collected at that time.

Alas, the collector never had an occasion to mail the postcard, so there is no personal story connected to it.

On the face, a pair of lovers are closely entwined atop a rocky promontory.

They have removed their hats, and are engaged in a passionate kiss.

Each seems to be oblivious to the lovely scene below them.

An ornate frame encloses the romantic scene, and a humorous caption is printed below – “Business is Good!”
