Traveling to York from Brodbecks

Traveling to York from Brodbecks in 1910

Sometime in 1910 (the postmark is distorted), Edna wrote from Brodbecks to her sister, Mrs. Ivan Butcher, in York.

Edna reports that “Lettie, Grace, and I are coming down on Tuesday.”

If no one can meet the trio of visitors at York Depot, they will take the trolley to Musser’s Lane.

Brodbecks is an “inhabited place” in Codorus Township, but I cannot locate it on a map.

I am also ignorant of the place, “Musser’s Lane”.

Nevertheless, I hope the sisters were able to meet and that the whole company found the visit enjoyable.
