“Fuss and Fun” – Cochranville, PA (1907)

It was the birthday of Ralph Thomas who lived in Cochranville (Chester County), PA.

Ralph’s friend, Clarence McCarter, sent him a postcard greeting.

Mailed from Cochranville, the postcard features a very good drawing of children and ducks.

Entitled, “Fuss and Fun”, the illustration was inscribed with a hand-written “Happy Birthday”.

I could not discern an artist’s insignia on the drawing.

Printed before 1905, the postcard was mailed from Cochranville in 1907.

(I once had a pet duck and while they may be affectionate and follow one around, they create an incredible amount of dirt.)
